Main Information[]

Jealousy, Chapter One, the first chapter of Jealousy's book.

It was released on March 26th, 2022. It is the first chapter to have numerous amounts of delays.

Part I[]

You spawn in a city, and walk into an office. To get inside the office, you must walk until you see a double door emitting yellow light. In the office, you will be tasked to find a key, which lies on one of the desks. You use it to open the door in front of you. You will see a person lying on a bed, his name is Senzai Uchiumi. Isamu tells him that he will not rest until he finds out what happened in Aogashima Island. After that, you will get teleported to a boat in the middle of the sea. A giant monster named Umibozu, will slap your boat, and you can see that Senzai (allegedly) drags you somewhere...

You wake up inside a minka after getting hit by the monster you just saw. As you take a look around the room you're in, you see a red text on the wall that says "seek out a book". In one of the rooms, you will find a book, read it. Pictures will fade in and fade out as the story unveils.

"In a small village, there lived two orphan sisters. The two sisters lived in poverty, and often starved themselves. One day Mio, the younger sister, arrived home overfilled with joy. Rin, the older sister, became skeptical about her. She questioned Mio but was never told why Mio was so joyful. As the days went by, Rin came to a final thought that Mio must've been eating well without her. Jealousy overtook Rin, and to satisfy her insatiable hunger, she consumed her own sister. Rin came to a realization that Mio had been secretly saving money for the both of them. She became haunted with extreme guilt, leading to a mysterious appearance of a second mouth on the back of her head."

You are now tasked to find and poison three rats in the old well, which is located in the garden, and then place it below the bell and ring it. When you do that, Rin will go to the bell room and eat the poisoned rat. After completing the objective, the cut-scene from the Book II final trailer.

"Ahh..."

"You dare try to trick me with rodents?"

"You've upset Mio"

After the dialogue, you will get teleported to a chase sequence. Once you escape, you'll make it on to another strange place.

Part II[]

When you spawn in the entrance of Part II, will be floating faces/masks/heads and a hallway, 2 of those heads scream at you. After getting to the end of the hallway, you need to walk up a long set of stairs connected to a stone wall. After you get there, you will be tasked to hide from Nure-Onna, also known as The Great Nure. You have to cross a bridge leading to a village. However, to get to the bridge you will have to get past Nure-Onna, to hide, you have to crouch in grass and under rocks while not moving. (You can crouch by pressing CTRL) Then Nure-Onna rises up and tries to seek out players to kill. This will repeat for a countless number of times until you get to the tooth bridge.

After crossing the bridge, you shall be brought to a cave, It's best to run before the chase sequence will start. Once it does you shall now be chased by Nure-Onna, you have to touch the black wall at the end of the cave before she catches you to get to the village.

Part III[]

When you spawn, go straight until you see a house/minka. Open the door and go straight down the hallway, you will then get a jumpscare of Senzai walking in you. Keep going straight until the game teleports you to the following point. You will be told by an NPC to talk to old man Keneo. Go through the little village and talk to Keneo, He will then task you with retrieving a seishin orb for him. You must find 5 paintings and memorize what they are, using the overhangs on the porches for safety from the monster (aka Kurobozu). The paintings are all in different doors and 1 door has a puzzle to retrieve the painting while another has the key for part 3.5. After finding all paintings, make your way to the locked door to retrieve the orb for Keneo.

Part IV[]

Now you teleport in the Broken Ship. There will be 3 phases, and you need to light up candles. If you are on solo or play with 2 people the candles you need to light up are 2 in the Phase 1. Phase 2 - 4 candles, Phase 3 - 6 candles. If you are with three people: Phase 1 - 3 candles, Phase 2 - 5 candles, Phase 3 - 7 candles. 4 people = Phase 1 - 4 candles, phase 2 - 6 candles, phase 3 - 8 candles. If 5 people = Phase 1 - 5 candles, Phase 2 -7 or 8 candles (I don't remember), Phase 3 - 9 candles. On floor 1 there is 1 candle, and a monster named Hyakume. On floor 2 there are 3 candles, and a monster named Three Eyed Monster. People also call him Kishin. On floor -1 there are 5 candles, and also another monster named Tenome. Afer you light up them, a cutscene plays, including Tenome. He says:

"Trying to escape little rat?"

"My only goal now..."

"...is to drag you to THAT PLACE."

You will spawn in a vent. I recommend you to crouch immediately and go forward, because, once again, a chase sequence. Tenome will chase you in vents.

After that, you spawn in water area. Just go forward, until you touch a black wall, and a cutscene will play with Enzukai. He will look up, and then will look to you.

Tips[]

• In the Village/Part 3 you can use the Side Roofs to Hide;

• In the Sunken Boat Part it is advised to do the Basem*nt first since it is the hardest so if you die its less damaging to your Effort in the 1st and 2nd Floor;

• In the Cliff/Nure Part it is advised to go in the bridge when The Nure is Looking at the Entrance part since she wont see you and you wont make it to the Cave if you just cross the bridge when The Nure descended as it takes too long;

• In the Rin and Mio Part, The doors with a shimenawa is safe while Rin can enter doors without a shimenawa;

• Always Watch your Sprint;

• In the Boat Part The Basem*nt and 2nd Floor have tables which really reduces the difficulty especially in The Basem*nt to hide in tables simply hold CTRL to crawl under;

• Don't use your Stamina to the fullest because if it runs out it will take a cooldown of 5 seconds until its fully energized.

Tricks[]

• Holding W or going forward while the Futakuchi-Onna cutscene is playing may help you get ahead in the Chase Sequence;

• In rooms without a shimenawa you can hide behind the shelves or behind byobu.
  
• when in the basem*n with Tenome it helps to crouch and remove your candle so you don’t get caught easily

Trivia[]

• In the first maze, you can only hold one rat at once;
• There are 7-9 different monsters that try to kill you in this chapter, and they have have all their hostile part. Those monsters being Rin and Mio, The Great Nure, Kurobozu, The Blind Witch, Tenome, Hyakume, and the Three-Eyed Monster;
• This chapter has the most number of hostile monsters, reaching the number of 9. However, Book II Chapter II beat this award.
• This chapter has the second most monsters in a single maze Which is The Broken Ship (the first being The Chamber of Lost Souls in The Witch Trials).
