90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Michael Ilesanmi has a “new family” in the U.S. since he left Angela Deem, and he’s finally revealed their identity. Angela was worried about meeting Michael in 2017, since Michael was from Nigeria, which she believed was the “scamming capital of the world.” Angela liked Michael because he was young. Michael was also her ticket to fame. She’s tried several times to become famous by appearing in shows like Trisha and Maury. However, this time, Angela hit the jackpot when Michael messaged her on FB.
Angela treated Michael horribly. She didn’t hesitate when she smashed cake in his face or pushed him and screamed that she was “an American” at him. Angela didn’t like Michael having female friends, so she stopped him from going out and working. Michael admitted that he got depression from staying in all the time and not talking to anyone. When he did try making friends on a WhatsApp group for people who were waiting for visas like him, its name, "Paradise Men," got Michael in trouble, since Angela thought it was full of scammers and Michael was their ringleader.

Michael Revealed His “New Family” On Instagram in July 2024
The information revealed by Michael about his disappearance doesn’t match with what Angela had revealed, which makes everything look suspicious. It’s likely more details will be revealed soon as Michael and Angela face each other in court. Michael’s first public appearance after he fled was in May 2023, when he was spotted attending a party in Indianapolis. However, Michael could have simply traveled there for the occasion, since he'd been seen in various parts of Texas from then onwards. Michael posed for a picture with a fan at a Kroger’s in Alvin and went to a pool hall in Houston.
Michael appears to have made Texas his new home. He still refuses to reveal who he is living with, but Michael gave his Instagram fans a glimpse of his “new family” on the Fourth of July 2024. He posted about a warm-up and post-game chill session with his soccer team. Michael had an outdoor lunch with his friends after the game. He wished his followers a happy Fourth of July as he celebrated his newfound freedom with his second family.

Fans contributed willingly towards Michael’s cause because his win would mean outright humiliation for Angela. Michael also refers to his fans as his “family” since they are taking care of him as he navigates his journey.
